Under 18's FA Cup Victory

Shaun Harper's Under 18's made it through to the first round of qualifying for the FA Youth Cup with a 3-2 victory over Invicta at Priory Lane last Tuesday evening
( 9 sept 2008). The home side looked the liveliest in a first half that saw them go 2-0 with a brace form Darren Lok, only to let Invicta back in with a goal just before the break.

The second half saw Borough make hard work of the match and Invicta leveled forcing the game into extra time. Mid way through the second period Lok stepped up again collecting the ball wide on the right of goal cutting in and shooting across the stricken keeper to complete his hatrick and send the lads into the first round of qualifiers

The next FA Youth Match will take place at Priory Lane on September 23 kicking off at 7:30. It would be great to see some of our members supporting the lads in their quest for FA Cup glory!
