In what has become an annual event we recently held a coaches workshop at Priory Lane. We were able to bring coaches up to date with developments in club policy and procedure and also launched our 'Managers and Coaches Handbook' which it is hoped will give guidance and support in what can be a hugely under estimated role.

The workshop included a coaching session delivered by Coerver Coach Gwynne Berry who emphasised how important individual skills are in youth football development and how they are often over looked. The coaches then braved the rain to run through some structured drills to take back to their squads.

Afterwards there was an oportunity for all to catch up socially in the Bar for a well earned drink. More than 25 of our managers and coaches attended the session and we thank them for their continued dedication and support.
