July 2nd saw the climax to our footballing year with our annual presentation, this year held at the kings conference centre.

It was a swelteringly hot day and acknowledging the heat, the proceedings were sped up somewhat. As each of the squads took to the stage there were accompanying images screened either side of the stage depicting some of the action the members had been involved in throughout the year. The younger age groups heard from their managers who gave a brief overview of their year. Much was made of the progress the younger members had made and how they were developing as teams.

Each member of the club received their members trophy a symbol of their commitment to the club throughout the season, then it was the turn of the individual award winners to collect their awards.

The evening proceeded with the presentation of the three special awards; the Liam Harper Award - for commitment to the club through personal difficulties, awarded to Shaun Smyth, The Jim Stevens Award - for team Sportsmanship and Respect awarded to the Under 12's Rother squad and the Clubman Award sponsored by Winning Look for services to the club awarded to Jacquie fuller and Allan Staples.

The evening ended with a few words from our commercial manager Paul Maynard expressing the clubs appreciation for those who sponsor teams and events art the club and also appealing for help to organise such events. This was followed by a moving visual presentation featuring images taken over the year set to music.
