SUSSEX SUNDAY LEAGUE DIVISION 2 WINNERS

Eastbourne Borough U12 Sussex Sunday League squad finally won the League on Wednesday night..........but it wasn't easy!!!

They travelled away to play Hove Park Colts in the final match of the season.

Hove took advantage of the wind in the first half, and took the lead.

Borough fought back and had several chances, but were unable to get the scores level, so it was 1-0 to Hove Park at half time.
In the second half it was all Borough. The equalizer came through Edan Shelley, with his first goal for the Club (on his birthday!), and then Joshua Bennett-Tomlin put them into the lead.
Minutes later Ryan Gilbert scored his 29th goal of the season, and then finally, Luke McWilton scored the fourth t make it 4-1 on the night.
So Borough became the Champions of Division 2
